Hair Inspiration

After dithering over the cut or no cut decision, I have decided to grow out my hair again. I had been keeping it long to do cute vintage hairdos, but I got frustrated with it (and it's refusal to stay curled after being in hot rollers) and chopped it off into a cute bob. Now I miss being able to do vintage dos, so it's grow out time! Here are some fab pictures to inspire me (and you!).



A smattering of fourties styles-fancy updos and a cute pageboy. Fourties styles had side parts, lots of curls and were always immaculate.



Veronica Lake's killer (but longer than the norm) hair. Gorgeous! Many women shortened their hair in support of the war effort but Veronica kept her locks.



Hair became a main fashion accessory during the war as fabrics and other supplies were needed for the war effort.
