Baby, it's cold outside!

The unseasonably warm weather has finally left and fall is moving along. There was frost outside this morning and I was a bit depressed at the thought of wearing jeans and hoodies for the next five months just to stay warm. Right now, once the day warms up, it's fine weather for cute clothes, but early in the morning when I walk to school, it's pretty cold! It causes a lot of fashion issues for me. And I usually fold in the name of being warm and comfy.

So, I thought I'd dig into some fall fashion inspiration. I'm also planning on moving up my winter sewing projects so I can have clothes to wear!

I love this outfit! It's fall from the color pallet to the weather appropriateness. I need some vintage pants badly!

A sharp suit with fur accents. I adore the big belt. It's so modern.

A darling coat pattern. I think coats will have to wait till next year when I can sew better.

More suits with fur accents. I know vintage fur is a touchy subject for a lot of vintage lovers, but you can't argue with the fact that it kept these ladies warm and stylish.

A big poofy collar beats a scarf any day in my book.

Here's a bit of modern re-interpretation. I love the purple coat and the gloves. Not too keen on the hair though. I think I'll stick with something sharp and vintage.

I'm also planning another major "fashion" change to combat the winter blues. Here's a hint!
