Edwardian Lovelies: 1916

 Enjoy these lovelies from 1916!

The Edwardians loved buttons and trims!

Again, we see full skirts but also rising hem lines! This is great for showing off those lovely shoes.

Sailor collars and rounded collars were still popular even on non-nautical dresses.

Ruffles! And I love these saturated colors for fall.

This bold coral color is to die for! And I bet the brown trimming is some kind of fur. *swoon*

Take a look at the bold military inspiration on the dress on the right! Paired with sweet scallops too!

Asymmetric evening gown. I love the fuller styles for gals with more hip (like me).

More pretties from the same page.

Check out the fun skirt styles.

The love of layering starts translating into a skirt paired with a longer top which is much more practical for sports.

  1. Wow, these are amazing! It's hard to pick a favorite. But I really like the blue with red one on the back right in the first picture.

  3. Not only do I adore the fashions here, but the hairstyles, too are so, so delightfully pretty and really a joy to look.
