Shop My Closet Part 1

So, last weekend, I did a huge closet clean out and it's time to let go of some of my me made and vintage pieces so I thought I'd give you guys first dibs.

First up, a cute 50s day dress. The fabric on this dress is so cool! It's not actually purple but rather pink one way and blue the other so it just looks purple. Price: $50

Bust: 40"
Waist: 32"
Hips: 53"
Length: 44"

There is one L-shaped tear that has been repaired on the back shoulder so this dress is best for hanging around the house or worn with a cardigan. Alas, I don't really hang around the house much any more.

Looks much cuter on! More shots here.

Next up is another great 50s house dress. This one features a cute collar, an inverted box pleat and the most adorable pockets! And it's plaid! Price: $65

40" Bust
32" Waist
42" Hips
8" underarm to waist
30" waist to hemline

Check out the most darling pockets! They have self fabric loops on the top of them! Eeep!

It does not come with a belt but it looks great with a navy blue one!

Next up is a cute 20s style dress. It's modern but the drop waist and shear overlay are just so 20s. Price: $45.

It has a low, but not too low back.

Bust: 35"
Empire waist: 33"
Drop hips: 39"

This garment has some stretch and fits nicely on my 37"-29"-42" frame.

Here's a shot of the under layer. It's a really pretty print that comes across subtly when worn.

Next up are two pair of me-made 40s style wide legged trousers. Price: $40 each.

First up is a grey and black micro houndstooth print in a cotton suiting.

Waist: 34"
Hip:48"

They look much nicer on!

And then there is a brown pair with sailor buttons! They will receive a nice press before shipping.

Waist: 35"
Hip: 48"

Buttons!

    1. The grey pair is 29.5" and has a wide hem. The brown pair is 27.5" and has a pretty narrow hem.

  2. Ahh!! All of them except the slip would fit me to a T. Ugh, why must I be saving up for a new bed when you sell some of your fab wardrobe?? Grrr!!!

  4. Are the two 50s day dresses still available? I'm leaving on vacation this week so can't really afford anything new, but I can't stop thinking about them, especially that red plaid!
