Blouse in progress. I choose an old thrifted sheet that would be cute enough to wear but not beloved so much that I'd be crushed if there were issues.
Skirt front! It's coming along quite nicely. Alas, it'll be about eight months before it's warm enough to wear.
I also had a friend give me a pile of vintage patterns! There were some super cute 50s and early 60s ones!
And there were also some really cute little girl patterns. We're not planning on kids any time soon but they were too cute to pass up!
That's super nice of your friend! :) People do that for me, if they see something vintage, they usually give it to us or inform us about it.
ReplyDeleteSuper pretty, cheerful floral print! I love the idea of repurposing vintage sheets into garments. Be they aprons, dresses, skirts, tops, bags, or anything else, it just seems like such a great way to help these pretty (large) pieces of fabric get a new lease on life.

Lucky you, I've just been given lots of patterns too but the are 80s so not my style!
ReplyDeleteOoh, I have that pattern with the green dresses as the envelope art! It is one of my all-time favourites. I consider it the closest I have to a TNT pattern and have made so many mods and variations of it I can't tell you. I hope you'll enjoy it as well - and the others, of course!
