This weekend was a big two day bridal expo for me and my husband. We do wedding photography. It was super gorgeous outside (mid-60s) so I was kind of bummed to be inside all day. I did get to wear a pretty me-made dress.
I couldn't resist some shots on the pedestrian overpass between the expo and the parking lot.
I love a good urban setting!
Hope you all had a great weekend!
beautiful! What pattern is this?
ReplyDeleteIt's simplicity 2549. The original post for this dress is here: http://star-spangledheart.blogspot.com/2011/05/sew-weekly-hat-trick.html
DeleteVery pretty!! You weren't in Indy by chance?
ReplyDeleteNope. I'm over in Ohio.
DeleteOh my, that dress is just GORJ. Thanks for posting the pattern- I'm going to have to look for it, for sure!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm thinking that I'm going to have to make this pattern up again this summer because it is so great!
DeleteAbsolutely beautiful dress! I love the hem length and femininely pretty pink and green pattern. That's such an upbeat combo that one doesn't encounter often enough, especially in vintage inspired fashions.

So, I've watched your videos on youtube for a while and love them! I didn't know you had a blog (not the most observant), though!! I found you on JusticePirate (love her!). Anyway, I'm so excited because you live in Ohio and you love vintage *AND* you're a wedding photographer?!
ReplyDeleteI live in Ohio, love vintage (although I hold no candle to you) and my husband and I are wedding photographers!! May I ask what your business is? How fun!
How cool!! Our business is Will Thorpe Intelligent Design at willthorpe.com.
