I've been knitting again! This is the Lavenda Drop Bolero from A Stitch in Time Vol. 2.
It's got this super cute drop pattern that looks just like rain drops.
I paired it with my favorite vintage spring dress. I finally got around to letting out the hem so now my petticoat doesn't peak out anymore.
The weather was so nice! Yay for no rain!
Happy Spring!
I love this combo and your hair looks lovely! Happy Spring!
ReplyDeleteBolero's are perfect for spring and fall when it is too cool for a sundress but you still want to wear it. I got a cropped cardi at the dollar store believe it or not and it's perfect for a retro sundress! Is that a periwinkle, either way it's pretty!
ReplyDeleteSo springy and perfect! I have a fondness for the raindrop pattern!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely adorable! A perfect little addition to your wardrobe and the dress is super sweet! I am envious. :)
ReplyDeleteIt does look just like raindrop - love it!!! Fantastic job on this new bolero. Aside from the darling droplets, I love the longer sleeve length (I prefer my boleros to have at least elbow length sleeves) and serene shade of blue.
ReplyDeleteYou look so sweet and beautiful in these springtime snaps.

You knit too! You. Are. My. Hero. Love the shrug and your fave spring dress.
ReplyDeleteAww. Thanks! I'm not really a good knitter and I'm crazy slow but I like it.
DeleteOh, your bolero looks splendid. I've been hoping to knit this pattern too (but in sage green), it looks like such a versatile woolly. Are you planning to make the matching top for the twin-set, or do you want a bolero on its own?
ReplyDeleteI did buy enough yarn so that I could make the top too but I think I've decided that I don't really like the top that much.
