Sunshine, Daisies, Butter Mellow
This weekend, the hubby and I were at a huge 2 day bridal expo. I didn't get awesome photos because we had way too much stuff to lug around with out adding a camera on top of it all. So iPhone photos it was. This outfit was just too cute not to share!
I rocked out my cherry print Bernie Dexter dress with pops of red and a great yellow hat. This hat is so fabulous! You can't see but there is a yellow swirly ribbon and some great pearl details on it!

What a gorgeous outfit! I love the bright colors, especially in the bleakness that can be winter. And yellow looks great on you. The hat is also the perfect yellow topper. I always wonder about how to wear little vintage hats with netting/veils, but this looks perfect. Thanks for the sunshine in winter!
ReplyDeleteI have this dress too:) I love it. You are certainly right that it is such a cheery print. You look wonderful in your dress and I like that you paired it with a red cardigan. I bet many folks thought you were shopping around for wedding items with your wonderful dress on:)
ReplyDeleteAh my brain was telling me it was 'cat' and I couldn't place it because of that. Who calls their cat that? :-P
ReplyDeleteLove the dress with the red sweater.

Ron Weasley from Harry Potter! Lovely outfit post!
ReplyDelete'Turn this stupid fat rat yellow!' Ron Weasley on the train to Hogwarts!
ReplyDeleteYou look lovely! Yellow is definitely your colour :)
That's truly gorgeous. I love bright colours and the way the cardigan matches the cherries and the hat is exactly the same colour as the dress is just perfect.
ReplyDeleteThat dress is pure happiness on a hanger (or figure!). I love it's vivid hues and darling pattern - just the ticket to chase some of the inevitable wintertime doldrums away.

Sunshine couldn't describe that dress any better, it's so bright and cheerful. I love how fresh it and summery it makes me feel!
ReplyDeleteLovely colours! Looks like you've made your own sunshine.
