I hate when that happens, so I put off hemming as long as I can. But now you have an excuse to watch another movie. Can't wait to see the skirt when it is done.
loved the skirt and the color and the fabric. Is this before or after you wore it?
It was super long on Wednesday. It just needs to be a bit shorter to really work.
I know this is supposed to be about sewing, but POTC 4 is a great film!
Beautiful choice of colours for this skirt. I just love a vivid turquoise like that for vintage fashions (or just about anything else :)).♥ Jessica
Oh no!!! I HATE it when I do stuff like that. You're right. SO very sad. But I can't wait to see it when you're done!
Oh no! All that work for nothing! But the colour looks really fantastic. :) And an excuse to watch another film, right? :)
I thought about this post last night when I finally finished the 1940's dress I've been working on all week--too big, and the hem is uneven. And I measured that hem out carefully! Not sure why there is a one inch difference in the front. And too big, I have to take it in an inch on the side. Again, I measured carefully because I had to alter the pattern slightly. I think I may set it aside for a week or two before fixing it.
