It was a basic set taught ages ago in beauty schools... 50's and 60's. Use gel and put in pin-curls wound in the same direction starting with the bang area side to side and alternating direction row by row through the crown. On the back direction doesn't matter. Use gel and put the direction of a wave in and pin it down in the area to short to pin-curl. When dry brush well and push into waves hair-spray well, The back can be fluffed or put into waves, your choice, Good-luck with your growing out process.
