Questions, questions

Today I have a couple of questions for you. Firstly, I'd like to know what your favorite types of posts are. Is there anything you'd like to see more of? Less of? I very much do enjoy blogging, but I've come to realize that it's really not something I do just for myself. If it was, I'd just keep a journal or something. So, I'd like to know what you like reading about.

Secondly, I've been pondering a new sewing project. There are so many wonderful costumes out there in films that are so inspiring and I have a huge list of ones I want to add to my wardrobe. Would any of you be interested in a bit of a sew along type project? It would be awesome to work together and inspire each other with our sewing. I'd plan on something long term with no time pressure. Just each of us working at our own pace on whatever most inspired us. It'd definitely not start until after my Renaissance dress is finished, but do let me know if you are interested or have any ideas. I'm still muddling over the details.

  1. I love inspiration type posts (what goes on creativity-wise for planning sewing projects). I, also love finished objects posts! I'm rubbish at sew alongs...but what you are proposing is the type that I am good at and like--i.e. no time pressure ones! Sounds like fun!

  3. I like seeing what your sewing projects are, as well as what inspires you.

A sew along is always fun and I could use some costume motivation. Costuming is one of my passions but I rarely sew them for myself, a sew along might just do the trick especially if it was over a lengthy time frame....give a girl a chance to really out do herself:)

  4. I love finished garment posts and also enjoy in-progress posts. Inspiration posts are good too... :) I also love the day-to-day ramblings, I-traveled-there pics and old family photos...

  5. I like seeing your projects, etc. I sew 18th century clothing (a lot) for our visits to Colonial Williamsburg. On top of that I homeschool and sew costumes for our history presentations (across all the historical eras) 4 times a year. I'm interested in all the eras, all the costumes, all the inspirations...
    Thanks for sharing!
